The workshop

Studio recording is a crucial stage in music production. To get the most out of it, rigorous preparation is essential, both to optimize the time spent in the studio and to facilitate the work of the sound engineer. This training module will give you a better understanding of the studio environment, the players involved (sound engineers, directors), and the different recording and preparation methods. A real asset for tackling this stage with serenity and efficiency!

On the program :

> Introduction
> The sound engineer and his environment
> The creative process and the different stages before entering the studio: demo, pre-prod, preparation for recording
> Different recording methods: live session, by section (bass, drums, brass...)
> The sound engineer's work on mixing and sound color
> Mistakes not to be mad

  • Training on Monday 07.04 from 6pm to 9pm
  • Aimed at amateur artists and music structures with no professional training.
  • Limited places
  • Speaker : Jean-Pierre Maillard (live and studio sound engineer, producer for Dionysos, H-Burns, Moonrite, Pablo Alfaya...)
  • At Labo de La Belle: 51 Boulevard Gambetta, Grenoble
