MAO Workshop • Ableton basics
Equally at home in music production and live performance, Ableton Live has become the software of choice for many of the world's leading songwriters and producers, particularly in electronic/pop music.
This training course, aimed at musicians and producers (of all styles) starting out in Computer-Aided Music with Ableton, will give you the basics to use the software and get you started on your first compositions more quickly.
- Two-day training : Saturdays February 15 and 22 (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
- Ableton beginner musicians/composers aged 15 and over
- Please note that this is a very intensive program, and that it is preferable to have already opened the Ableton software before the course. Computer and music skills are strongly recommended - Training materials are provided (2 people per workstation).

The program
- Discovery and use of MAO equipment: computer, sound card, midi/usb interface.
- Learn the basics of Ableton Live: audio/midi track creation, session and arrangement modes.
- Learn the basics of mixing.
- Audio/midi recording.
- Use of virtual instruments (vst), ADSR envelope.
