Malik Djoudi
“Vivant” is Malik Djoudi's 1st single in 3 years. A sunny track with an addictive rhythm, “Vivant” is an invitation to self-acceptance, the praise of a freedom finally (re)found. We recognize the androgynous, sensual voice that has made him such a success, in the service of the silky melodies that are his secret. The singer has shaped his style over the course of three fine albums: “Un” (2017), “Tempéraments” (2019), named “Album révélation de l'année” at the 2020 Victoires de la Musique awards, and his latest, “Troie”, a collection characterized by classic pop and pared-down electro touches that evoke Sébastien Tellier and James Blake in equal measure. Malik Djoudi continues to bypass the codes of pop, with his love of concise, unadorned grammar, writing songs that touch us and accompany our daily lives to make them sweeter.
For his fourth album, due for release in September 2024, Malik Djoudi is even more assertive in his preferred territories: sensual and intimate, silky and soaring. It's as if the passing years have freed him from all constraints. Uncompromising, his music is loaded with swaying rhythms. Written and composed by Malik Djoudi, co-produced with Adrien Soleiman (previously with Philippe Katerine, Juliette Armanet and Voyou) and mixed by Ash Workman (Christine & The Queens, Baxter Dury, Metronomy...), this new album establishes Malik Djoudi as a major trend-setter in French pop.

Courcheval
Deliberately out of frame, COURCHEVAL is the new project from Kaolin singer Guillaume Cantillon. It's a pop-culture digest with a definitively modern silhouette: a mix of styles, solid rhythms and a nod to the dance-floor gods. He moves seamlessly from electrobeat song to slow, disillusioned hip-hop. With contemporary themes, he provokes a clash between profound lyrics and nonchalant music. It's joyful, sometimes dark, but never defeatist in the end. And then there's that voice, poised, sexy, warm and sincere, mysterious and yet so familiar.
