Parisian duo Jahneration, formed by Theo and Ogach, came together in 2009 when these two college friends decided to swap punk rock for reggae. Musicians since their earliest childhood, they compose, write and sing in English mixed with Jamaican patois. In love with the island and its music, the duo draw their inspiration from frequent trips there: in 2017, they recorded with their musicians in the famous Marley family studios “Tuff Gong Studios”. Notable collaborations follow with international reggae greats such as Alborosie and Queen Omega, as well as French artists such as Manu Chao, Dub Inc, Danakil and Naaman.
Their meeting with the latter in 2011 marked a turning point in the careers of the two music enthusiasts, who recorded “Me Nah Fed Up”: a Reggae/Hip Hop track that left a lasting impression on young Reggae fans, and secured them their first loyal following.
In 2015, Jahneration signed with the independent label Ovastand, which established them on the current music scene. Over the next 8 years, they will tour France and its overseas territories, Europe, India and Canada
performing over 400 concerts. Opening for them at most of France's concert halls and Zeniths, they eventually sold out the Olympia in 2022.
With their 4 albums and a mixtape featuring their famous Mic Sessions concept, Jahneration have established themselves as one of the must-see projects on the French reggae scene. Prolific, creative and powerful on stage, they
a vast audience with their modern, dynamic Reggae.
They are currently releasing extracts from their second mixtape, featuring new Mic sessions: the singles “Back Inna Di Dance” and “Wham To Dem” are already enjoying worldwide success. They'll be back on the road in France in summer 2024, after an 18-month international tour.

After a spell in 7AC, a new roots reggae band where he performed as a singer, Bijo turned to rap before returning to his first love. His music is a blend of the two worlds he inhabits: on the reggae side, he is influenced by Taïro, Biga Ranx and Danakil. His rap influences include Laylow, Nemir and Josman. On each track, he manages to alternate sung and rapped passages. A musician from an early age, Bijo plays a role in composing instrumentals and arranging his tracks alongside his partner Aurélien Combes. He doesn't hesitate to harmonize his vocals, which is often the hallmark of his tracks. The result is a rich palette of sounds from all horizons. His lyrics are full of life experiences, ambitions and his desire to escape. Bijo is a versatile artist who puts his pen, flow and melodies at the service of music.
He's a child of the Val d'Oise, supported by the department's leading structures such as the Forum de Vauréal and Combo 95, among others. He is well on the way to becoming a leading figure in French reggae. Validated by his peers for his first project, “Verre en L'air”, released in March 2024. He delivers shows of the highest quality, and has already graced such Parisian venues as La Boule Noire and La Maroquinerie© Benjamin Ranger
