Italiques
Italiques is not Italy, it's a proposal of Italy. A subjective and emotional vision of this country to which Alfred is attached by his roots, his departures and his returns. With his partner Olivier Ka, Alfred will explore this peninsula and its islands through well-known and lesser-known literary texts. A dialogue between texts read by Olivier KA, Italian-style music and live drawings by Alfred. The texts depict typical Italian landscapes such as the Cinque Terre coast, Venice, Naples and the Gargano massif, and include Alfred's 2013 album Come Prima, Laurent Gaudé's Le Soleil des Scorta and Pinocchio...

Alfred
Alfred was born into a family of artists in May 1976, and after years of self-taught fanzining and micro-editing, he began publishing with Éditions Delcourt in 1997. In 2007, he won the Prix du Public and a Prix Essentiel at Angoulême for the album Pourquoi j'ai tué Pierre (sc. Olivier KA) and, in 2014, the FAUVE D'OR for Come Prima (to be adapted for film by Tommy Weber). Over the years, he has produced a string of books in universes that are far removed from one another, and regularly creates covers for novels, posters, exhibitions, short stories and various illustrations for publishing and the press. He collaborates on a wide range of formats with Lewis Trondheim, David Chauvel, Olivier KA, Etienne Daho... A major part of his activity is devoted to stage comic performances, with artists such as Brigitte Fontaine, Raphaël Imbert, William Z Villain, JP Nataf or Arthur H...

Olivier KA
I was born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1967. I arrived in France at the age of 4 and lived in the Paris region for a long time, before moving to the provinces and flitting from region to region. I discovered the pleasure of writing quite early on, just before the age of 20, and the idea of making it my profession immediately took hold. After a spell in the written press (notably in Joystick, a video game magazine), I moved into fiction, first with short stories (most of them published in Psikopat, the comic magazine created by my father, Carali) before tackling longer stories. A first novel for adults was published in 1997 by Florent Massot (Je suis venu te dire que je suis mort), followed three years later by a first novel for children published by Grasset (Le manteau du Père-Noël). I then moved on to various publishers for young people (Plon, Magnard, Lito, Milan, Les Grandes Personnes...), while at the same time writing comic strip scripts. In 2006, Alfred and I produced Pourquoi j'ai tué Pierre, which won several awards, including two Essentiels at the Angoulême Festival.

Librairie Momie
“Since 1985, the Momie bookshop has been selling comics, mangas and graphic novels in Grenoble, in a joyful and cheerful atmosphere! Momie was founded by two friends with a passion for comics. They began selling comics in a small store in the center of Grenoble, and since 2013 you can find the bookshop in Rue Lafayette for comics, and Grande Rue for manga since 2022, with even a recently opened gallery space that has already exhibited... Alfred!
At Momie you'll always find plenty of references, good advice, a few events, an art gallery and the answer to (almost) all your questions, but above all all the nonsense of slightly odd but very endearing and resolutely passionate booksellers! And we can even serve you a coffee in the bar area, what else?”
