Le dispositif Impulsion

You're used to our Impulsion evenings? The format that showcases the region's musical projects on the Belle stage. For this year's event, we'll be traveling in orbit around noise, kraut-rock and techno, with an immersive 360° pit stage!

For the occasion, we'll be delighted to invite Belgium's La Jungle and Grenoble's Mother Medusa and Oratrism for this totally free 360° Impulsion (reservations required)!

La Jungle

Jim & Roxie borrow traditional noise codes, reappropriate snippets of them and loop the whole to compulsively repeat sequences always conceived live.

A hypnotic and deliberately haunting spontaneity, bordering on the interminable, with occasional brief Eastern doom impulses or an epic metal fork in the middle of a kraut-rock epic.

If La Jungle is often defined as a math-rock duo, its two noisers prefer to speak of wild, brazenly danceable techno with blasting guitars, frenetic drums and a Casio for kids.

Welcome in the... trance!

Mother Medusa

Formed in 2019 and resident at Le Ciel (Grenoble) since its inception, Mother Medusa offers its singular version of the bass/drums duo: a dense post-tout, between punk urgency, melodic flights and 90s noise.

Concerts at various venues in France and a first EP released in 2022 have enabled us to refine the formula and work on the sound. The result is an uncompromising but effective set of tracks played to the hilt!

Oratrism

Dark ambiences, a tortured universe, epileptic flights of fancy. On stage, ORATRISM deliver a colossal sound in the pure old-school tradition, mixing heavy stoner passages with subtle ambient moments, in the constant but impalpable shadow of a terribly noisy darkness.

The duo exploit a multitude of sound-creation materials, borrowing from both vintage analog and modern electronics, to produce music with post-cold, progressive and melancholy overtones.
