Nick Waterhouse is a Californian singer, musician, composer, producer and arranger whose musical sensibility lies somewhere between Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Garage Rock, Psyche Rock and Rock'n'Roll.
Since the release of his debut album Time's All Gone (2012), Nick Waterhouse's records and concerts have delighted fans of old-school sounds. His track “Katchi” from his third album Never Twice (2016), has put him well beyond his regular listeners and into the public eye. (Ofenbach vs Nick Waterhouse / +150 Million Views)©Ben Heath
There are rare, powerful, and timeless voices that grab your soul from the very first listen. Bobbie’s voice stands among the greats she has admired since childhood, with Joni Mitchell and Dolly Parton at the top of her list. Bobbie grew up just a train ride away from the French capital, but it’s in the United States that she found her musical inspiration, nurtured by her father’s vinyl collection.
Influenced by the traditions of American folk and country, she invites us with her debut album, released on March 29,2024, to celebrate “The Sacred in the Ordinary”. Anintimate journey blending nostalgia and tenderness. Elevenfinely crafted songs designed to strike straight at the heart. In this album, Bobbie retraces a deeply personal andmelancholic journey toward her dream, like a road movie. The organ, pedal steel guitar, andgospel choirs enrich the album in the tradition of the genre, dressing it in nostalgia—a central theme that inspired thealbum’s title track, “The Sacred in the Ordinary”, an ode torediscovering, as in a childhood snack at hergrandmother’s, the sacred in the everyday.
This first opus resonates like a folk Americana classic
