This workshop is part of a 4-day cycle dedicated to music production and label structuring. We have, however, opened the registration to full-day courses for those who wish to delve deeper into a particular theme. This course is therefore specifically concerned with the economics of a production budget (day 3).

The workshop
Against a backdrop of great reluctance on the part of music industry professionals to sign emerging artists, the entrepreneurial approach offers a genuine alternative for structuring and developing a musical project. As a result, many artists are led to build their own label-type production structure, but without mastering the professional uses of this activity and its financing.
Understanding the workings of a professional label is an undeniable asset for an artist, in order to reassure potential partners in their decision whether or not to invest in a new project. A well-informed artist is more likely to guarantee a quality collaboration!
